Free lofi for streams, videos and games: how to credit it
All music in Lofi City is by Purrple Cat and released free under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You can use it in videos, livestreams, games, apps, podcasts, shops and school projects. The only requirement is credit.
Put this line in your video description, stream panel or credits: "Music by Purrple Cat (purrplecat.com), licensed under CC BY 4.0." The short version, "Music by Purrple Cat", is fine on a screen overlay. The songs are not registered in Content ID, so you will not get matched claims from this music.
One rule: please do not upload the songs to music streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music, and do not post remixes, samples or covers of them there. Uploading music to those services registers it in Content ID systems, which causes false claims on the original and on everyone who uses it.
Which playlist is best for a stream?
The All Songs Mix has 281 songs with no album back to back. For a study stream, the Central Square and Quiet Library playlists are calm and steady; for a gaming stream, Pixel Arcade.
Where do I download?
Every song has an MP3 button on its playlist page and in the library. M3U8 playlists are available for each place.
